The Associate Vice President, Enterprise Digital Platforms is the senior product leader accountable for the strategy, priorities, adoption, and value realization of Humana’s enterprise digital platform portfolio. The portfolio includes Adobe Experience Platform products, Consent and Preference Management, the Digital Health Platform, the enterprise design system, content and digital asset capabilities, and reusable services that enable connected, consistent, and accessible experiences.
This leader translates enterprise strategy and customer needs into a multi-year platform vision, investment roadmap, and adoption agenda, operating through Humana’s product operating model. The AVP provides single-threaded accountability for platform product strategy, portfolio prioritization, business enablement, and 8ipoutcomes; leads persistent cross-functional teams; and uses evidence to guide investment and continuous improvement. Technology leaders remain accountable for architecture, engineering delivery, security, reliability, and technical operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Product Strategy and Portfolio Leadership- Define the multi-year vision, product strategy, target outcomes, and enduring roadmap for the enterprise digital platform portfolio.
- Translate enterprise priorities and customer needs into opportunities, validating desirability, viability, quality, and executability before scaling investment.
- Own portfolio priorities and investment recommendations, balancing evidence, enterprise value, customer impact, risk, dependencies, and time to value.
- Own the enterprise design system as a platform product, including its roadmap, governance, service model, reusable components, standards, and enablement tools.
Enterprise Activation and Adoption- Build and execute an enterprise adoption strategy that converts platform capabilities into priority business and customer use cases.
- Partner with business and channel product leaders on activation plans, readiness, dependencies, and time to value.
- Drive adoption of the enterprise design system across web, mobile, and associate experiences by embedding accessible, reusable components into product workflows.
- Establish cross-functional enablement, standards, playbooks, communities of practice, and feedback mechanisms that improve usability, consistency, and self-service adoption.
Governance, Prioritization, and Partnerships- Establish product operating model decision rights for demand intake, portfolio priorities, capability reuse, funding trade-offs, and lifecycle management.
- Lead enterprise and design-system governance, including contribution standards, stage-gate decisions, release priorities, exceptions, and adoption requirements.
- Partner with technology and engineering leaders to align product, architecture, and delivery roadmaps, define clear product-platform interfaces, and maintain accountability for technical execution and operations.
- Lead executive portfolio and investment reviews, using evidence and realized value to resolve trade-offs, reallocate resources, manage dependencies, and assess strategic vendors.
Value Realization and Performance- Define portfolio objectives, key results, baselines, targets, and executive scorecards.
- Measure adoption and reuse, experience consistency and accessibility, speed to market, customer and business impact, cost reduction, and return on investment.
- Use performance insights to validate benefits, reprioritize investment, address adoption gaps, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions.
Organization and Talent Leadership- Lead and develop directors, senior product leaders, and persistent cross-functional platform teams with clear accountability for strategy, adoption, and outcomes.
- Build a customer-focused culture of discovery, experimentation, evidence-based prioritization, enterprise reuse, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Strengthen product operating model capabilities, roles, ways of working, succession, and career development while creating alignment across a matrixed enterprise.

Candidate ProfileRequired Qualifications- 10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in product management, platform strategy, digital transformation, MarTech, experience design enablement, or a related field, including leadership of enterprise-scale portfolios and teams.
- Demonstrated success leading within a product operating model, including persistent product ownership, cross-functional teams, outcome-based roadmaps, evidence-based investment decisions, and continuous value realization.
- Experience with customer-engagement and experience-enablement platforms such as customer data, journey orchestration, content management, consent, personalization, analytics, design systems, or reusable digital services.
- Understanding of design systems as platform products, including reusable components, accessibility, governance, contribution models, and adoption across design and engineering teams.
- Proven ability to establish product decision rights and value-realization models, with strong business and financial acumen in a complex, regulated environment.
- Exceptional executive influence and communication skills, with experience leading senior leaders and high-performing teams across business, design, and technology.
Preferred Qualifications- Hands-on product leadership experience with Adobe Experience Platform capabilities, including Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with next-best-action, decisioning, artificial intelligence or machine-learning-driven personalization, propensity models, and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, insurance, or another highly regulated consumer industry.
- Experience rationalizing platforms, increasing capability reuse, and retiring duplicative technologies or solutions.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$203,400 - $279,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
