Associate Veterinarian - Prairie State Veterinary Clinic | Orland Park, IL

Prairie State Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing small animal practice in Orland Park, Illinois. Located in Chicago's southwest suburbs, our veterinarians provide preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, wellness, and internal medicine for dogs and cats throughout Orland Park, Tinley Park, Palos Heights, Homer Glen, Frankfort, Mokena, and surrounding communities.

Prairie State Veterinary Clinic is a full-service small animal hospital located in Orland Park, Illinois, providing preventive care, wellness services, internal medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and compassionate lifelong care for dogs and cats. Our recently expanded hospital features five spacious exam rooms, including dedicated feline and comfort rooms, creating a welcoming environment for both pets and their families.

Our medical team includes three experienced veterinarians, including a board-certified internist, providing an outstanding collaborative environment with access to advanced medical expertise. We genuinely enjoy mentoring and teaching, making this an exceptional opportunity for both experienced veterinarians looking for a collaborative practice and new graduates seeking strong clinical mentorship.

We are open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and are closed on Sundays, serving Orland Park and neighboring communities including Tinley Park, Palos Park, Homer Glen, Mokena, Frankfort, and the greater southwest Chicago suburbs.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $ $120,000 - $160,000 /year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
