Main Street Animal Clinic is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our growing practice. We are a rural, multi-doctor, small animal hospital that has proudly served the Oakland, TN, community for years.
Experience and scheduling:This is a full-time Monday-Saturday role. We're currently open weekdays from 8am-5:30 and every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 9am-1pm.
We're open to veterinarians of all experience levels. We primarily have surgeries on weekday mornings, with our team seeing a range of cases including orthopedics, splenectomy, soft tissue surgeries, and dentistry. DVMs who are confident in surgery (or interested in mentorship) are encouraged to apply. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in Tennessee for consideration.
Our current DVM team:We are a 3-doctor practice that is trusted in the area for orthopedic surgery (including CCL repairs, TPLO, FHO, and fracture repair). Our Medical Director, Dr. Barry Miller, has special interests in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ACL/TPLO surgeries, and preventative care. Our Associate, Dr. Robert Parker, is a board-certified pet chiropractor and enjoys laser therapy and ultrasound. In January we welcomed Dr. Steven Buco to our team.
