Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Active veterinary state license (or ability to obtain one)
DEA License and USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
Proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
Interest or experience in exotic pet medicine is a plus
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive veterinary care to a variety of animals
Conduct surgeries and perform dental procedures
Administer treatments for exotic pet species as needed
Mentor and train fellow veterinary staff or new graduates
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
