We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate Vehicle Test Specialist. This pivotal position is the driving force behind our product validation strategy for key North American automotive brands. You will act as the ultimate 'designer' and 'owner' of our diagnostic validation coverage for each model, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed customer expectations in quality, reliability, and performance.

This role is critical to the success of high-priority strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be the central champion for the customer, shaping the future of our diagnostic tools and directly impacting our brand reputation and market leadership.

Core Responsibilities

As the Validation Brand Responsible, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

1. Strategic Validation Ownership:
  • Define, architect, and own the comprehensive validation coverage strategy for each vehicle model throughout the entire product lifecycle (development, validation, release, and maintenance).
  • Establish and manage all L2-based requirements, translating customer needs and service information into actionable development and validation targets.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of competitor tools to identify our competitive advantages and pinpoint areas for strategic improvement.

2. Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Serve as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for all validation-related matters concerning your assigned brands.
  • Foster a customer-centric development process by working closely with Content Authors, Software Developers, and global engineering teams.
  • Effectively communicate requirements, issues, and validation status directly to development teams to ensure clarity and seamless implementation.

3. Quality and Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead the validation and verification of critical vehicle functionalities, with a strong focus on ADAS and complex electronic systems.
  • Oversee the timely investigation and resolution of all quality issues and Open Point Lists (OPLs).
  • Proactively monitor and analyze customer usage data to derive actionable insights, drive quality enhancements, and inform future development priorities.
  • Rigorously track and manage all validation and release activities to ensure they are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.


Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Automotive related education preferred.
  • Proven experience in software validation, quality assurance, or a related technical role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Deep understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, service information, and modern vehicle architecture.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to own a product area and define long-term validation roadmaps.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Daily local travel required; valid driver's license required (company vehicle provided).
  • ASE Certified preferred.

Additional Information

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $76,000 - $85,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
