Job Description:OverviewThe Technical Experience Designer is a hands-on technology practitioner who defines and improves complex Corporate Banking workflows. Reporting to the Director - Front End Engineering, you will translate business processes, controls, data needs, and system constraints into implementable solutions aligned to front-end architecture and engineering standards.
Working with end users, product, engineering, architecture, quality engineering, and control partners, you will model end-to-end workflows and define the behaviours, rules, and technical detail needed for scalable delivery.
You will work across the delivery lifecycle, from problem definition and feasibility through implementation, testing, and production readiness.
Key AccountabilitiesThe role is accountable for:
- Defining efficient, reliable, and well-controlled Corporate Banking workflows.
- Aligning end-user needs and business rules with data, technical, and control requirements.
- Creating shared understanding across product, engineering, architecture, and risk before delivery.
- Promoting reusable components, consistent front-end patterns, accessibility, performance, and engineering quality.
Responsibilities- Lead workflow discovery and model end-to-end processes across users, systems, data, controls, hand-offs, and exception paths.
- Translate business needs into functional flows, prototypes, business rules, component behaviours, and implementation-ready requirements.
- Define states, permissions, validations, notifications, error handling, and recovery paths.
- Partner with engineers and architects to assess feasibility, API and integration constraints, dependencies, and delivery risks.
- Align solutions to shared components, front-end architecture, accessibility, performance, security, and maintainability standards.
- Create clear specifications and acceptance criteria, and support refinement, technical reviews, testing, defect resolution, and release readiness.
- Document key decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and trade-offs.
Candidate Requirements- Experience defining or delivering complex workflow-enabled products, ideally within financial services, enterprise software, or another regulated environment.
- Strong capability in process modelling, system interactions, data flows, business rules, exception handling, and operational controls.
- Proficiency with workflow and prototyping tools such as Figma and FigJam, with the ability to create implementation-ready specifications.
- Working knowledge of responsive applications, front-end architecture, APIs, integrations, reusable components, state management, accessibility, performance, security, and testing.
- Experience partnering with engineering teams through discovery, refinement, technical reviews, implementation, testing, and defect resolution.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with sound judgement when managing ambiguity, dependencies, and technical trade-offs
- Experience with workflow platforms, data-dense applications, process orchestration, integration-heavy systems, or Corporate Banking processes is an advantage, but deep knowledge of a specific platform is not required.
