This team evaluates opportunities ranging from early-stage technology companies to large-scale acquisitions, partnering closely with business leaders to assess how new capabilities can strengthen products, unlock growth, and improve the customer experience.

Job Description

As an Associate, Strategic Investments, you will play a hands-on role in evaluating potential investments and acquisitions across a wide range of emerging technologies. You'll work directly with founders, investors, and internal leaders to analyze opportunities, develop financial and strategic insights, and help inform decisions that shape Comcast's future.

This is a highly visible role on a lean, collaborative team. You will contribute across the full lifecycle of investment and acquisition activity-from early research and valuation through executive presentations and transaction support. Your work will help leaders understand market dynamics, financial implications, and strategic fit, often informing decisions at the senior leadership level.

In addition to transaction work, you will track industry trends, analyze comparable companies and deals, and support active portfolio companies by monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for commercial success within Comcast. The role is well-suited for someone who enjoys translating complex data into clear insights and is energized by new technologies and fast-moving markets.

Core Responsibilities
  • Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships through financial modeling, market research, and strategic analysis
  • Analyze financial statements, equity research, and industry reports to form clear, data-driven perspectives
  • Prepare well-structured investment materials and presentations for executive audiences
  • Support end-to-end transaction processes, including data review, analysis, and deal documentation, in partnership with Corporate Development and Legal
  • Monitor industry trends, earnings activity, and announced transactions to inform opportunity assessment
  • Manage and track active opportunities and key performance metrics
  • Support portfolio companies by tracking financial and operating performance and assisting with internal collaboration
  • Work collaboratively across teams while exercising sound judgment on matters of significance
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Generally requires 2-4 years related experience
  • Ideally a background in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or Management Consulting
