Program Overview:

This is a structured, cohort-based accelerated development program designed for early career Solutions Architects. You'll join a cohort of peers at one of our hub locations in Arlington VA, Austin TX, or Seattle WA, building a professional network from Day 1.

You'll be embedded in a supportive team with a dedicated mentor, an onboarding buddy, and a manager who guides your technical and professional growth. You'll follow a structured learning journey that develops deep expertise in cloud architecture, AI/ML, and customer-facing solution design. Within weeks, you'll begin working directly with AWS customers - from startups to large enterprises - helping them architect cloud solutions that solve real business problems.

Start Date Details:

This is a cohort-based program where everyone is required to start on the same day. Start dates are tentatively set to occur January 25, 2027.

Key job responsibilities

- Create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services

- Interface with customer stakeholders, including developers and team leads

- Drive effective feedback gathering from customers, distill and translate feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams

A day in the life

No two days look exactly the same, and that's what makes this role exciting. Your morning might start with a team stand-up where you share wins and learning moments with your cohort and mentor, followed by a hands-on lab building a serverless architecture or working with an AI model on Amazon Bedrock. By midday, you could be on a customer call helping a CTO plan a cloud migration - whiteboarding an architecture, recommending services, and walking them through a proof-of-concept, with your mentor there to support you. In the afternoon, you might attend a technical session led by a senior SA on emerging technology, then spend time working toward your next AWS certification. Later, you'll collaborate with your cohort on a group project - building a customer-facing demo, writing a technical blog post, or preparing for your next development milestone. You'll also have opportunities to participate in leadership development programming and community events that go beyond your core technical work.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields

- Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++

- Experience with AI/ML technologies

- Experience with one or more of the following domains: analytics, security, storage, DevOps, application development, or machine learning

- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

- Must be 18 or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- AWS or other cloud certification

- Experience applying established frameworks and design patterns to deliver working software (can include coursework, personal projects, hackathons, or previous internships)
