We are seeking an
Associate Scientist-I to join our Content Development team with a passion for innovation and someone who can help in developing immunoassays for new biomarker detection and help augment our quantitation capability. You will be working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and will be a part of a rapidly growing company to make a big impact in life science research and early disease diagnosis.
Primary Responsibilities include:- Apply trained knowledge and skill sets to execute experiments for new biomarker detection following established protocols, applying relevant technical skills to ensure assay accuracy and reliability.
- Support workflow automation to streamline and scale reagent production and proactively identify any areas for further process improvement.
- Examine the impacts of multiple variables on assay performance and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Assist in the preparation, organization, and storage of reagents for running immunoassays and in the development of products.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and present findings at group meetings
- Assist in the organization, storage and record-keeping of related data and electronic documents.
Requirements include:- B.S./M.S. degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or a related discipline.
- 2+ years hands on experience running and developing immunoassays, such as ELISA, as well as experience generating, analyzing, and interpreting assay data.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in Excel and other MS Office programs.
- Must be self-motivated with a positive "can do" attitude with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to work within a multidisciplinary team environment required.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $97,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
