Full Job Description
About the Role:
Performs research and/or development in collaboration with others on in-vivo and in-vitro pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and drug metabolism studies working with clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism and therapeutics areas. Assists in the quantitative evaluation of new products and maintenance of existing pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism product lines through the application of state-of-the-art knowledge in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and bioanalytical chemistry. Provides support in the outsourcing and conduct of in vitro drug metabolism and permeability assessments to support early drug discovery efforts. Participates in review and QC of study reports that are part of regulatory submission packages.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Plan, write study protocols, and conduct controlled experiments to characterize toxicological and PK properties of new investigational drugs. Collect, analyze, communicate results, and assist in preparing reports in a timely manner
  • Work collaboratively with other scientists, technicians and colleagues as part of multidisciplinary project teams
  • Understand and interpret study protocols/SOP's to ensure that the tasks are conducted accurately
  • Prepare dose formulations and other reagents as instructed
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary


Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree AND some relevant experience preferred
  • Able to execute experiments efficiently and suggest small process improvements
  • Able to recognize patterns or inconsistencies in data results
  • Able to deduce meaningful results while conducting routine analyses or troubleshoot minor issues. Good knowledge of one scientific discipline
  • Developing knowledge of scientific principles, methods and techniques
  • Good knowledge and some experience working with discipline specific laboratory equipment/tools
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good computer skills

The hourly rate we reasonably expect to pay is $35.35-$47.34. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 15% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
