An overview of this roleAs an Associate Revenue Operations Analyst, Policy & Rules of Engagement, you will help the Field Sales team apply go-to-market policies consistently. You will learn to support requests and policy-related disputes, maintain documentation and data, and help make processes easier to understand and use. This is an entry-level, remote role aligned to time zones in the United States.
What you'll do- Support the documentation and maintenance of go-to-market policies and rules of engagement for the Field Sales team.
- Respond to policy questions and support the resolution of policy-related disputes through Salesforce Chatter, case requests, and the Sales Support Slack channel.
- Apply established policies carefully and identify questions that need escalation.
- Maintain accurate data, process documentation, and best practices for first-tier sales teams.
- Work with operations, strategy, sales compensation, and sales systems partners to support consistent processes.
- Identify documentation or process gaps and share them with the appropriate team members.
- Support policy updates and annual planning activities as business needs change.
What you'll bring- Interest in revenue or sales operations, policies, and the systems that support go-to-market teams.
- Experience working carefully with data, documentation, or administrative processes through coursework, internships, projects, or previous roles.
- Ability to review information closely, identify issues, and document clear next steps.
- Ability to organize multiple requests, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with stakeholders across teams.
- Interest in supporting policy application and resolving questions or disputes fairly and consistently.
- Demonstrated curiosity by asking questions, learning new processes, and taking ownership of assigned work.
- Salesforce administration experience or familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
About the teamThe Revenue Operations team supports go-to-market teams by building and maintaining the processes, policies, and systems they use to serve customers. We work asynchronously with partners across GitLab to make rules of engagement clear, consistent, and scalable as business needs evolve.
The base salary range for this role's listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location. The base salary range does not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
