Role Summary:The Associate Relationship Manager supports Relationship Managers and senior team members in delivering exceptional service to Northern Trust Asset Management's institutional investors.
This role is responsible for coordinating client servicing activities, managing operational and administrative processes, and partnering with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate execution of client requests.
Key Responsibilities- Support Relationship Managers in servicing institutional client relationships.
- Assist with day-to-day client inquiries, requests, and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate internal resources to help resolve routine client servicing and operational issues.
- Track action items and ensure timely completion of deliverable.
- Manage account maintenance activities, including onboarding, mandate changes, restructures, and account-related requests.
- Develop an understanding of Northern Trust's investment solutions, institutional markets, and client segments.
- Prepare materials for client meetings, reviews, due diligence meetings, and prospect presentations.
- Participate in client meetings and internal discussions to build industry and product knowledge.
- Support Relationship Managers in documenting client activity, opportunities, and relationship developments.
Necessary Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 1 to 2 years of experience in the financial services or investment management industry.
- Foundational knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management.
- Ability to listen purposefully and apply problem-solving skills to identify and quickly address client servicing issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required and must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
Salary Range:
$74,200 - 126,200 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
