Primary Objective:
• As an Associate, you will beresponsible for the successful delivery of various mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing projects and the development of the designer and project managers reporting directly to you.
• Strengthen your current client base and develop new clients with the support of the leadership team to advance your career within Reinbold.
Job Description:
• Lead and coordinate the design and delivery of projects of varying size; delegate work and attend design and coordination meetings as required.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to support effective project delivery and professional development.
• Manage an annual portfolio of $500K-$1.5M in revenue while meeting or exceeding target profit margins.
• Maintain and grow client relationships; pursue repeat business and new opportunities aligned with the company's strategic plan.
• Provide technical leadership to clients, internal teams, and sub-consultants; ensure coordination across disciplines.
• Review team deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards prior to submission.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, resourcing, and scope; identify and address additional services or fee changes as required.
• Support construction administration, including site reviews, shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and design changes.
• Prepare and oversee schematic design, feasibility studies, design development, and specifications.
• Contribute to proposals and RFP responses, including scope definition, budgeting, and contract negotiation.
• Review monthly billing and assist with accounts receivable matters when needed.
• Support continuous improvement of design standards, workflows, and project delivery practices.
• Assist with recruitment, performance management, and staff evaluations.
Experience & Qualifications
• 10-15 years' experience using Autodesk MEP REVIT software required
• Engineering degree is an asset.
• Must have 2 years of Canadian experience in design in HVAC, plumbing.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of current codes and standards such as the applicable plumbing and building codes.
• Excellent written skills and understanding of software programs.
