Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Associate Registrar for the School of Nursing. The Associate Registrarfor the School of Nursing is responsible for the coordination and oversight of academic records, registration processes, and academic operations within the School of Nursing undergraduate populations.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Serves as an administrative leader ensuring compliance with university policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality student services.
  • Collaborates closely with faculty, program directors, central registrar offices, and student affairs teams to support enrollment management, academic progression, graduation clearance, and operational efficiency across undergraduate nursing programs.
  • Supervises the Assistant Registrar's (UG) essential functions which include education and licensure verification, standard and procedure manuals (SRDB (Student Record Database) & Regis), registration collaboration with SN academic offices and university registrar offices (Newark, New Brunswick), maintaining adherence to school practices and policies, collection and analysis of operational data, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, plus five years of in-depth experience advising students.


Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple constituencies including faculty, students, and staff.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Proficient in multiple Student Information Systems primarily SRDB SRDB (Student Record Database) and Banner.
  • Ability to interpret and apply school of nursing and Rutgers University policies pertaining to student records and confidentiality, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
