ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in creating and analyzing club head designs using CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
  • Support documentation of design processes, technical specifications, and dimensional data
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with design, manufacturing, marketing, and legal teams
  • Help track project timelines and provide updates during the design and development process
  • Identify potential design or development issues and escalate with recommended solutions
  • Execute defined design procedures, standards, and workflows established by the Product Design team
  • Support coordination with suppliers, prototype shops, and internal labs throughout the development cycle
  • Assist in planning, building, and testing physical prototypes
  • Contribute to test execution and data collection; help summarize findings for review
  • Provide general support across research, development, and product validation activities


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with CAD software (Siemens NX or similar preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Foundational understanding of engineering principles, design methods, and materials
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate in team environments
  • Exposure to parametric modeling, surfacing, or product development processes is a plus
  • Interest in or knowledge of golf equipment performance is preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships, co-op programs, or academic project work applicable)
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes such as casting, CNC machining, or composites is a plus
  • Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., 3D printing) preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)
  • Work is performed on-site in a designated professional office workstation and environment.
  • Occasionally exposed to excessive noise while on the shop floor.
