The UNM Lobo Rainforest provides an entrepreneurial ecosystem, which includes Rainforest Innovations and the Innovation Academy, that translates research to market.

Qualified candidates will have earned a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, bioengineering or a related discipline by the time of appointment. Preferred qualifications include a demonstrated ability to develop a nationally and internationally recognized research program; a commitment to undergraduate/graduate education and student mentoring; and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
