About the RoleWe're hiring an Associate Product Manager to help shape the roadmap for our prediction-markets infrastructure product.
You'll work directly with engineering, design, and our prediction-markets operator clients to translate market structure, regulatory shifts, and operator feedback into shipped features. You'll own smaller product surfaces end-to-end (spec, ship, measure) while learning the full PM craft from senior product leadership.
This is an early-career role with a clear path to owning a full product line, and you'll help set how we build products for prediction markets as we scale. What matters is demonstrated technical ability, not years on a resume. Co-ops, internships, hackathons, and shipped projects all count
What You'll Be Doing- Own discovery and delivery for defined product surfaces within the prediction-markets platform, from spec through launch.
- Work with engineering and design to scope, prioritize, and ship features on a predictable cadence.
- Talk directly to prediction-market operator clients to gather feedback and translate it into prioritized requirements.
- Design product surfaces across the full platform, from the trading experience end users see to the tools and integrations operators run their business on.
- Track competitor moves in prediction markets and translate them into product implications.
- Build and operate AI-assisted workflows for spec-writing, competitor tracking, and user-feedback synthesis.
- Define and track success metrics for your surfaces; report on them to product leadership.
What We're Looking For- 0-3 years of experience. New graduates welcome.
- A technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience. You can read a spec or schema, hold your own with engineers, and reason about what's actually hard to build.
- Structured thinking. You can break an ambiguous problem into a clear spec.
- Default fluency with AI tools as part of how you work. Show us one thing you've built or shipped with them.
- Structured thinking. You can break an ambiguous problem into a clear spec.
- A bias to action and high ownership. You chase down answers, communicate sharply, and don't wait to be told what to build next.
- Real curiosity about prediction markets, crypto, and trading infrastructure. You don't need a finance degree, but you should be able to explain what a prediction market is and why it matters in two sentences.
- Based in NYC or surrounding areas
Bonus Points- Prior internship or part-time work in product, engineering, data, or analytics.
- Crypto-native. You've used a wallet, you follow CT, and you can explain who our competitors are
- Some SQL or scripting ability, even self-taught.
- You've built and shipped something publicly. An app, an agent, a tool, a side project with real users.
Why join Shift?- Help shape the product for one of the most important infrastructure layers in crypto and prediction markets.
- Work directly with senior product, engineering, and the operators building on our platform.
- Real ownership from day one. Small team, fast cycles, clear runway to owning a full product line.
This role requires 40 hours per week and is intended for candidates based in the United States. Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.
