What you'll do in the role: Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking an Associate, Product Management in New York, New York to deploy advanced systems that utilize generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to optimize business processes, with a focus on overseeing governance and control measures to ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies. Develop and execute an effective end-to-end process for governing GenAI use cases. Collaborate with Business Units, stakeholders across all three lines of defense including BU Risk, Model Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, and Internal Audit, and other Firmwide GenAI teams to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient implementation of GenAI use cases. Conduct thorough analysis to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives, including risk management principles. Partner with all three lines of defense to ensure GenAI use cases comply with regulatory standards and Firm policies. Support AI, Technology, and Third Party Governance Partners in establishing risk-based frameworks, policies and procedures that govern GenAI enablement, including the deployment of agentic AI solutions. Monitor project progress, proactively identify and address potential risks, issues, or dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies throughout the GenAI deployment lifecycle to ensure timely project rollout. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and synergy. Contribute ideas to drive collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing across GenAI initiatives. Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders across Firmwide GenAI, product owners, technology teams, control partners, and BUs. Participate in meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and address project-related issues. Use GenAI tools to perform key responsibilities. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
What you'll bring to the role:-Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
-Requires four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years as an Associate, Analyst, Data & Analytics Engineer, AI/ML Developer, or a closely related occupation.
-Requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills:
- project tracking using Agile and JIRA;
- conversational AI vendor solution implementation using Kore.ai;
- data collaboration and reporting using SQL;
- system connectivity management using API Integration;
- Project Management including cross-functional program delivery;
- creating presentations using PowerPoint; and
- using Excel for data tracking and analysis.
-Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills:
- enterprise AI implementation using OpenAI Enterprise Solutions and Microsoft 365 GenAI Solutions;
- AI workflow coordination using Agentic AI Orchestration;
- AI data integration using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG);
- Prompt Engineering to optimize AI interactions;
- Data Quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency of data used in AI projects; and
Data governance for overseeing data use policies and compliance for artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives.
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $145,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
