What you will enjoy doing*- In this role you will organize, lead, train, and develop talent to ensure a high performing team within the specialty ceramics departments of the atomization business while reporting to the Senior Product Line Manager
- You will monitor and adjust operational functions to ensure commitments are met by anticipating production (and non-production) problems, developing contingency actions, and resolving critical issues
- Further, you will develop, manage, and continuously track annual and periodic production budgets and adjust as necessary
- Additionally, you will have responsibility for employee safety, product quality, manufacturing schedule and on-time delivery metrics
- You will have the opportunity to contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
- You will work to maintain solid communication between a cross-functional team to ensure production related issues are promptly addressed and appropriate corrective actions implemented
What makes you great - Minimum BS/BA with 4+ years of experience OR MS/MA/MBA with 2+ years of experience OR 7+ years of related operational and/or supervisory related experience with broad knowledge of principles and practices within operations
- It is preferred that you will have 5-10 years of direct experience with ceramic powder production
- You should be able to demonstrate strong decision-making and business judgement skills
- You are self -directed and can organize and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives
- Permit to Work certified or have the ability to become certified within 6 months of taking the position
- You will have the ability to work all shifts and weekends as necessary to support production
