Job Title: Associate Principal - Business Analysis (Financial Crime Data SME)

Work Location- Lake Mary, FL

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Crime Data SME with 20 years of expertise in AML KYC Transaction Monitoring Regulatory Remediation Audit Support Data Governance and Data Assurance within global banking and financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will lead complex regulatory and financial crime transformation programs drive data remediation initiatives, strengthen data quality controls and provide subject matter leadership across AML compliance regulatory reporting audit readiness and risk management functions.

The candidate will partner with Compliance Risk Audit Operations Technology and Data Management teams to ensure regulatory adherence data integrity and effective remediation of regulatory findings while supporting financial crime prevention and detection capabilities.

Responsibilities align with AML transaction monitoring customer due diligence sanctions screening risk analytics quality assurance reviews and regulatory reporting processes.

Serve as SME for AML KYC CDD EDD OFACSanctions Screening Customer Risk Rating and Transaction Monitoring programs.

Provide strategic guidance on Financial Crime compliance frameworks and regulatory expectations.

Support design and enhancement of AML controls monitoring scenarios investigations and management processes.

Collaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to strengthen financial crime detection and prevention capabilities.

Lead enterprise-wide remediation initiatives resulting from regulatory findings consent orders internal audits and compliance reviews

Perform gap assessments against regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Define remediation roadmaps success metrics governance models and regulatory milestones.

Track remediation execution and provide reporting to senior leadership and regulators.

Own AML and Financial Crime data governance strategies.

Define data standards business rules data lineage metadata controls and quality measures.

Lead source to target mapping data transformation validation and reconciliation activities.

Establish controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and consistency of AML data.

Act as primary liaison for Internal Audit External Audit Compliance Testing and Regulatory Examinations.

Develop audit ready evidence traceability documentation and control frameworks.

Conduct data assurance reviews across AML KYC sanctions and regulatory reporting datasets.

Drive closure of audit observations through structured action plans and sustainable controls.

Define and implement enterprise-wide data quality frameworks.

Establish automated quality controls data validation rules monitoring dashboards and exception management processes.

Analyze data defects root causes and control breakdowns affecting regulatory processes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity.

Support data requirements for Suspicious Activity Reporting SAR CTR reporting AML metrics and regulatory submissions.

Validate data used within Financial Crime risk models and monitoring platforms.

Develop management reporting KPIs KRI dashboards and regulatory scorecards.

Partner with Risk and Compliance stakeholders to improve transparency and reporting accuracy.

Lead cross functional teams comprising Compliance Risk Data Management Technology and Business Operations.

Present program status remediation progresses risks and audit outcomes to executive leadership.

Mentor junior analysts' data stewards and compliance professionals.

Drive governance forums and regulatory working groups.
