Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary: The (USA) Associate Merchant supports category management by facilitating supplier negotiations, managing purchase orders, and resolving supplier-related issues to ensure accurate product setup across channels. Utilizing data analysis and financial insights, the Associate Merchant contributes to forecasting, budgeting, and assortment planning. What you'll do: - Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories.
- Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate the setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels.
- Own execution of customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content, adhering to taxonomy and search guidelines.
- Analyze category performance data to support budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
- Implement approved promotional features and modular assortment strategies to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with planners and analysts to align financial plans and inventory purchases.
What you'll bring: - Proven experience in vendor relationship management and supplier negotiations within a retail or merchandising environment.
- Strong proficiency in category strategy development and execution to support business growth and customer needs.
- Ability to analyze data effectively, leveraging insights to inform purchasing decisions and inventory management.
- Skilled in managing purchase orders and resolving supplier-related issues to ensure seamless category operations.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally to support promotional activities, pricing strategies, and item setup processes.
- Demonstrated capability to track financial performance and support budgeting and forecasting efforts at the category level.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
