About the roleThe Associate Media Manager plays a critical role in bridging internal brand and sales stakeholders with the Agency of Record (AOR), ensuring seamless execution of media plans, performance tracking, and campaign optimization. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional collaboration, overseeing timelines, and driving data-driven decision-making across integrated and retail media channels.
This individual will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, ensuring that media strategies align with business objectives, budgets, and timelines. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, stakeholder management experience, and working expertise in retail media platforms such as Amazon, Walmart Connect (WMC), and Target Roundel. This role is ideal for a media professional with a strong foundation in performance and retail media, who is looking to expand into integrated planning and cross-functional processes.
Your responsibilitiesStakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
- Act as the primary liaison between internal Brand, Sales, and cross-functional teams and the AOR.
- Align on campaign objectives, budgets, and timelines across stakeholders to ensure successful media plan execution.
- Lead ongoing communication cadence including status updates, planning meetings, and performance reviews.
- Influence stakeholders to align media investments, trade-offs, and performance decisions.
Media Performance & Analytics
- Analyze campaign performance across paid media channels and retail media platforms, identifying actionable insights.
- Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with performance reporting and strategic recommendations.
- Translate data into clear insights for Brand and Sales stakeholders to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with AOR and internal analytics teams to build reporting frameworks and dashboards.
- Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform media strategies.
- Own performance outcomes and proactively recommend optimizations that influence investment strategy and business results.
Retail Media Execution & Expertise
- Manage and support campaigns across key retail media platforms including: Amazon Ads / Amazon DSP, Walmart Connect (WMC), Target Roundel
- Partner with agency and retail partners to optimize onsite and offsite retail media performance.
- Understand retail conversion metrics, attribution models, and shopper behavior across retailer ecosystems.
- Ensure alignment between retail media, broader media strategy, and commerce objectives.
- Strong experience in at least one major retail media ecosystem, with ability to scale across others.
The experience we're looking for- Bachelor's degree required
- Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
- Must-Have:
- 3-5 years media experience (agency or brand)
- Hands-on experience with at least 1 major retail media platform
- Strong performance analytics + reporting
- Cross-functional stakeholder experience.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Multi-retailer experience (Amazon + Walmart)
- DSP + broader paid social/video ecosystem
- Tools like Pacvue / Flywheel / Criteo

US pay transparencyThe base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
