Role:
The paid search associate media director is responsible for the daily management of assigned accounts and media teams. This role oversees the development, presentation, implementation and optimization of the Media strategy within the framework of the overall plan. This role is the key facilitator of cross-functional collaboration within the agency.
In addition, this role is responsible to support business improvement by meeting personal and departmental goals and objectives timely and effectively.

Dynamic Business Leader
Ensures paid search accounts are delivering on client expectations
Collaborates with integrated media and analytics teams to develop recommendations as well as provide analysis and actionable insights
Forms decisive and insightful strategies to meet client objectives
Helps craft client objectives based on business and marketing knowledge
Demonstrates thorough understanding of client business and how to achieve results
Builds options to address objectives, works with internal teams to bring to life
Manages team effectively toward a single-minded goal
Demonstrates clear understanding of trade-offs that influence media decisions
Paid Search Innovation
Stays current with the ever-changing digital landscape and its impact on clients' paid search efforts and actively shares findings with the team
Tests, learns, and applies findings where necessary
Proactively measures activity to continuously improve client results
Demonstrates initiative to learn agency and departmental systems and resources
Media Visionary
Champions innovation and change in evolving approach for client business
Proactively seeks to redefine status quo with media partners and clients

Working Relationships, Autonomy, and Supervision:
The Associate Media Director must interact regularly, and collaborate effectively with the all personnel of the Agency.
The Associate Media Director will participate in the resolution of external client issues.
Work direction is from: Group Media Director.
Required Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:
Education:
A bachelor's degree in a related field.
Skills and Experience:
8-10 years of hands-on paid search/SEM experience (current title should be Supervisor level or greater).
Working knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
Experience managing multiple paid search accounts and thought leadership on the effects of A.I. on Search
Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Experience with organic search/SEO principles, third-party bidding tools (e.g., Search Ads 360), Google Looker Studio, and competitive insight tools (e.g., SEMRush)
Proficiency in Google Shopping and Performance Max (PMAX)
Local market planning/buying exposure a plus.
Experience managing multiple clients
Experience in personnel administration, staffing, recruitment, and training.
Strong experience delivering programs from hypothetical to flawless real world execution is a requirement.

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to budget, relevant experience, qualifications, and tenure in similar roles. Consideration may also be given to internal salary data for current or former employees in the same or similar positions.
Salary Range: $100,000 - 110,000 annually
