Job Title: Associate, Mechanical Engineering Job Code: 41236 Job Location: Rochester, NY Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off Job Description: Participates in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations. Engineer applies basic engineering design and/or analytical theory with understanding of structural analysis for application to integrated system design. Engineers will be responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost. Designs will be accomplished using world-class, three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and work will be accomplished with senior-level design engineers. Mechanical design engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on various aircraft platforms. Qualifications: - To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineering or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is [$59,000 - $110,000]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
