This position is fully onsite at our Santa Ana office, allowing for real-time teamwork, immediate problem-solving, and a strong sense of community among our team members.

Your knowledge spans vendor negotiations, industry best practices, and process optimization, and you're passionate about using your expertise to impact Fortune 1000 clients.

Subject Matter Expert:

An experienced analyst, negotiator and operations specialist with expertise and knowledge in one of the following; office and hospitality supplies, medical supplies, and facilities services. Core areas of specialization include:
  • Office Supplies - Managing negotiations, analyzing usage and buying patterns, and ensuring quality service of office materials and equipment to support administrative, clinical, and operational functions in various business environments.
  • Hospitality Supplies - Managing negotiations, analyzing usage and buying patterns, and ensuring quality service of hospitality materials and equipment to support administrative, clinical, and operational functions in various business environments.
  • Dental Supplies - Sourcing and managing essential dental consumables, including tools, equipment, and materials used in preventive, diagnostic, and treatment procedures.
  • Facilities Services & Supplies - Managing negotiations, analyzing usage and ensure proper Service Level's for facility operations, including cleaning, maintenance, uniforms, and supplies for various business environments
  • Medical Supplies - Sourcing and managing essential medical devices, instruments, and consumables used across clinical and hospital settings.

This SME brings a comprehensive understanding of workforce management, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation to optimize business functions and enhance service delivery across diverse sectors.

What You Will Do:
  • As the subject matter expert, your role will be focused on creating additional value to existing accounts/clients/projects.

As it relates to creating additional value, some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Analyzing client infrastructure, vendor contracts, and pricing structures to identify cost-saving opportunities
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions tailored to client needs
    • Leading complex negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms on behalf of clients
    • Deliver actionable insights and present findings to client stakeholders
    • Proactively identify client challenges and recommend strategic and operational solutions that exceed expectations
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies within your domain
  • Create and refine deliverables such as data analyses, reports, and client presentations as it relates to creating additional value
  • Serve as an internal resource for functional expertise and thought leadership
  • Work independently on projects or as a contributor on larger engagements
  • Take ownership of projects from ideation through execution, often in situations with limited direction or defined processes
  • Focus on proactively driving progress, setting clear objectives, and ensuring timely delivery of results
  • Facilitate and lead internal meetings with confidence, aligning stakeholders across functions, navigating ambiguity, and championing initiatives that push projects forward without waiting for instruction
  • Develop and implement robust contract management processes and governance frameworks, including compliance monitoring, performance tracking, and dispute resolution, to optimize supplier relationships and ensure ongoing contract effectiveness.


What You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 8-11 years of experience in consulting, vendor management, or business analysis
  • Deep functional expertise in one or more spend categories (e.g., IT, telecom, facilities)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; ability to synthesize large data sets
  • Proven experience developing solutions in complex client environments
  • Exceptional communication and client-facing presentation skills
  • Project management experience and familiarity with tools to manage deliverables such as SmartSheet and Project Management CRM strategies


The salary range for this position is: $135,000-$165,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, education, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
