Job DescriptionYou will be the Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineer for the Program Quality Team. Our team is responsible for leading quality initiatives, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance across the program.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineer you will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of Quality Engineers and overseeing critical quality activities.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead Failure Review Boards (FRBs) and Material Review Boards (MRB) with full authority.
- Drive root-cause and corrective-action analysis for yield improvement.
- Mentor and train team members, manage work assignments, and assess performance.
- Lead risk-mitigation activities, design reviews, and first-article inspections.
- Support proposal development and Basis of Estimates (BOE) inputs.

Basic QualificationsSTEM degree or equivalent experience / combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Ability to develop a vision for the team or an organization and develop and implement tactical actions to achieve the vision.
Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment with strong skills in AS9100 certification and compliance requirements.
Process improvement / process control experience.
Understanding of quality, procurement, operations, and risk management processes.

Previous Quality experience, interpreting and applying contractual and AS9100 / ISO90001 requirements.

Ability to travel 25-50% of time to domestic sites may be required as well as overtime to support production and customer milestones.

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
