OVERVIEW

The Associate Manager, Paid Search is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid search and performance media campaigns to drive direct response results across Performance and Sportstyle categories. This role plays a key part in developing scalable acquisition strategies, ensuring campaigns are data-driven, efficiently managed, and aligned with broader eCommerce and marketing objectives.

The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with hands-on platform expertise and a strong test-and-learn mindset. This individual collaborates closely with creative, analytics, CRM, and business teams to deliver measurable growth and continuously improve performance marketing effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

Paid Media Strategy & Planning
  • Plan, execute, and optimize SEM and performance campaigns from conception through launch, aligning audience targeting with consumer behaviors and interests to achieve direct response KPIs.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable paid media strategies across Performance and Sportstyle categories.
  • Identify growth opportunities through audience segmentation, keyword expansion, and full-funnel activation strategies.

Campaign Execution & Optimization
  • Manage day-to-day campaign setup, optimization, and performance monitoring to ensure efficiency and scalability.
    Continuously test and refine bidding strategies, ad copy, audience targeting, and landing page alignment to maximize ROI.
    Drive innovation by identifying testing opportunities, participating in beta programs, and staying ahead of platform updates and industry trends.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (eCommerce, Analytics, CRM, Brand) to ensure alignment between paid media execution and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Brief local requirements and ensure paid media best practices are applied across platforms and campaigns.
  • Support integrated media initiatives to deliver consistent messaging and maximize performance impact.

Budget & Performance Management
  • Manage campaign budgets effectively by accurately pacing spend and forecasting weekly and monthly investments.
  • Optimize media investments to deliver against efficiency targets, including ROAS, CPA, revenue, traffic, and conversion rate.
  • Ensure budget allocation aligns with priority products, key categories, and seasonal business objectives.

Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and deliver recurring performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze campaign and audience performance, demonstrating impact on key business KPIs through data-driven insights.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and overall media performance.
