Associate Manager, Key Accounts & Partnerships - US supports The Ordinary and NIOD by managing day-to-day relationships and commercial execution for assigned US retail key accounts across brick-and-mortar and retailer e-commerce channels. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnerships - US, the role analyzes sell-in, sell-through and inventory performance, coordinates launches and account operations, and recommends actions that support sales, profitability and partner service. The role works independently on recurring activities within approved commercial plans, seeks guidance on non-routine matters, and coordinates cross-functional work without formal people-management or independent P&L accountability.

.PAY RANGEThe anticipated base salary for this position is $75,400 to $85,000
Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for an assigned portfolio of U.S. brick-and-mortar and e-commerce retail partnerships, building trusted working relationships with merchandising, dotcom, marketing, planning, and operational counterparts.
- Contribute to account plans, retail targets, promotional calendars, assortment and pricing recommendations, launch activities, and other approved commercial priorities; translate direction into clear actions, owners, and timelines.
- Prepare partner-facing briefs, decks, trackers, recaps, and follow-up materials that clarify requirements, document commitments, and support timely retailer decisions.
- Coordinate and deliver the weekly business review for assigned partners by consolidating sell-in, sell-through, inventory, forecast, promotional, assortment, launch, OTIF/fill-rate, and chargeback information.
- Draw complete and accurate analyses from retailer portals and internal data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and convert findings into practical recommendations for the Partnerships Manager or Senior Manager.
- Monitor performance against plan and recommend corrective actions within established playbooks when sales, inventory, promotional execution, service levels, or launch readiness deviate from expectations.
- Coordinate with Brand, Design, Digital, Communications, Education/L&D, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and other partners to deliver retailer requirements, assets, allocations, and timelines.
- Manage operational readiness activities including purchase-order status, new-line and item-setup forms, NPD information, product samples, content and compliance submissions, asset requests, delivery windows, and launch-readiness trackers.
- Triage routine and vaguely defined operational issues involving orders, delivery timing, inventory availability, promotional mechanics, content, compliance, or chargebacks; evaluate available information and coordinate a practical resolution within approved guidelines.
- Support retailer events and activities as part of the commercial calendar, ensuring product, samples, assets, and deliverables meet approved partner and brand standards.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE- 2+ years of equivalent work experience in Retail Partnerships, Account Management, Commercial Operations, retail sales, or a related field and/or relevant education is required; experience in beauty, CPG, or the U.S. retail ecosystem is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing day-to-day relationships with retail or commercial partners and coordinating multiple concurrent launches, promotions, or account priorities.
- Proven ability to build complete and accurate analyses using Excel/Sheets and retailer or vendor portals and convert findings into clear recommendations and partner-facing materials.
- Working knowledge of sell-in and sell-through drivers, forecasts, promotional mechanics, item setup, content and asset workflows, purchase orders, OTIF/fill-rate performance, and chargeback prevention.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain and clarify information across internal departments and external partner contacts.
