Associate Manager - Financial Reporting and Analysis

The Associate Manager is a key member of the Capital and Risk Solutions (CRS) financial reporting team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, insightful reporting that supports senior leadership and external stakeholders.

You will collaborate closely with the CRS financial and actuarial teams, as well as global support functions (including Great West Controller). The position requires strong ownership, effective cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

What you will do
  • Lead all expense analysis and reporting activities, including ownership of the annual CRS expense budget process
  • Support preparation of financial statement notes disclosures for the Annual CRS Subsidiary Financial Statements
  • Oversee and mentor team members, including reviewing quarterly reporting tasks and providing guidance
  • Support operational finance processes, including Alteryx/Workiva-based reporting, optimization, and automation
  • Analyze, report and investigate various CRS Divisional reports for Great West Corporate
  • Collaborating with senior management and subsidiary CFO's with quarterly internal and external reporting
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial initiatives as required

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external auditors

The base salary for this position is between $71,900.00 - $131,800.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
