Job Summary

Maintain security controls for major information systems. Specify and document security control requirements, support security control assessments, and ensure that all security requirements are adequately addressed. Assist in various Information Security processes. Assist with fundamental security processes such as vulnerability scanning and remediation activities. Create operational documents for security technologies and develop reference guides. Assist in the development of security policies, standards, and guidelines. Liaison with the service desk for end user assistance.

Minimum Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher or
• Possession of a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate and Four (4) years of Information Technology (IT) networking or security or directly related experience or
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required .
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance is required .

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with drafting, reviewing or updating information security policies is preferred.
• Experience with developing or presenting trainings on cybersecurity topics is preferred.
• Possession of 1 of the following Certifications: CompTIA Network , A , Security or ISC2 Certification in Cybersecurity is preferred .

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of IT security theory, technologies, policies and best practices, and enterprise architectures.
• Knowledge of network architecture, operations, and protocols.
• Knowledge of secure network/systems configuration management, as well as an understanding of networking concepts and devices.
• Ability to communicate to document requirements, designs, communication plans, project plans, project status reports, and other relevant project-related issues.
• Ability to work 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to provide basic insight, advice and expertise to other professionals, management, and external contacts in an assigned functional area.
• Ability to operate as a team player and communicate basic or narrow-defined knowledge to team members and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of basic and standard principles and practices for a specialized area of focus.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work

Salary Range: $85,241 - $94,155
