Your Team's Impact

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Data Solutions group as a Pricing and Reference Data (PRD) Associate Implementation Specialist.

The Data Solutions group is responsible for the growth of FactSet's DataFeed (off-platform) products and solutions. Our aim is to consult & organize our client's data consumption processes with FactSet proprietary and industry standard delivery solutions.

Pricing and Reference Data is foundational data used to identify, describe and value financial instruments, such as stocks, bonds, derivatives, and currencies. PRD is required for workflows across the entire investment process, including trade execution, portfolio management, risk management, compliance, investment accounting and reporting. There is a tremendous market for this area of focus, including expanding into new clients, as well as competitor replacements.

You will gain exposure to a wide range of Data Solutions products; including FactSet proprietary technologies (e.g. User Configurable Feeds), Cloud and Managed Services (Snowflake, AWS, Azure), Standard DataFeeds (SQL Databases), FactSet proprietary content, Prices, Partner and exchange data and FactSet Content APIs as well as learning to design custom solutions tailored to each client using a combination of products.

What You'll Do
  • Gathering client requirements, preparing proof of concept files, data transformation and filtering, process design, implementation, testing & troubleshooting, and pre-sales client communication.
  • Liaising with the pre-sales coverage check team to facilitate the delivery of initial sample files
  • Working alongside with our sales, product, engineering, consulting teams and other internal teams throughout the implementation process.
  • Develop and share knowledge on PRD content (e.g. instrument identifiers, symbol cross reference, entity reference, prices, terms and conditions, corporate actions and derived analytics)
  • Involvement in product development (working with agile teams, improving existing & new products) to help shape the future of FactSet's PRD offering

What We're Looking For

Required Skills
  • University degree in Data, Business, Technology or other related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of pricing and reference data experience
  • Knowledge of financial products and instruments
  • Data management and Query Language experience
  • Good understanding of how to navigate through functions and code arguments in Excel
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and identify economies of scale
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ability to cultivate collaborative and productive relationships
  • Adaptability and capability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to analyze, validate, and interpret large and complex datasets.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data issues, reconcile mismatches, or resolve feed integration issues.


Desired skills
  • Good understanding of financial data and different security types (stocks, fixed-income securities, derivatives, FX, commodities)
  • Data modelling experience e.g., SQL, Python
  • Experiences with FQL and Screening syntax
  • Participation in the CFA Program or technology focused certification programs (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Snowflake Certifications, Power BI)

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Colorado and New York is $80,000-$100,000.
