Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct hands-on silicon photonic IC testing and performance characterization.
  • Operate and maintain optical and electrical test equipment.
  • Handle, manage and inspect fine materials with precision and care.
  • Assist in material handling and picking for various projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with the Program Manager, Design Engineer, and other team members.
  • Identify and solve problems that arise during the testing and characterization process.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and material usage.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related
  • Industry background with 1yr+ working experiences, lab experiences preferred
  • Hands-on experience with optical and electrical test equipment.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in material management and handling fine materials.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working Conditions
  • Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary

Physical Requirements
  • Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
  • Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings
