Full Job Description
This is what you will do:

The Associate Director will play a key role in the successful creation and execution of strategies and tactics for NMOSD - a rare, devastating, complement-mediated disorder of the central nervous system characterized by relapses. This position will collaborate closely with the Director, U.S. Marketing - NMOSD and will report to the Executive Director of US Marketing - NMOSD.

You will be responsible for:

Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead development of HCP print and digital branded and unbranded assets
  • Lead strategy, development and execution of all NMOSD RAM materials, including training and development lead
  • Lead HCP digital strategy, non-personal promotion strategy and execution, including all HCP media and websites
  • Manage cross-functional collaboration with Diagnostics and Market Access colleagues, including co-developing materials
  • Develop monthly and quarterly HCP media review reports containing quantitative and qualitative actionable insights for senior leadership in close partnership with operations, finance and sales teams
  • Manage cross-functional coordination with other Alexion line functions (e.g. clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, sales) focused on key customer segments
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of Alexion staff and management
  • Work with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company's policies and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct


You will need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Candidate will play a key role in developing effective partnerships with key opinion leaders and work collaboratively across many cross-functional teams.
  • This person must possess a strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, within teams, and as a sub-team lead.
  • Successful results driven performance in marketing roles, including product launches
  • Experience in marketing message development and communication
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. Certain activities may involve travel 30% of the time.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $151,082 to $226,622. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives-an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
