The Integrated Solutions Modeling & Architecture Directorate (ISMA) performs customer focused mission modeling and simulation activities for all customer areas at Raytheon. Our teams develop, analyze, and grade flexible integration solutions crossing all product areas (sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics, and operations), developing tools and methods to evaluate campaign, mission, and system level analysis and visualizations based on customer requirements. The directorate has a tradition of excellence through innovation and teamwork. This position is for an onsite role in metro-DC (Arlington, VA).

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the ISMA advanced technology analysis SME for all Raytheon SAP-Level fully informed activities.
  • Understand business environments, cost feasibility and return-on-investment potential for technologies under consideration; and advise program management and senior business leaders on technology growth strategy and business capture/new product development across all Raytheon fully informed activities.
  • Lead teams of analysts to produce OA/M&S products, customer and leadership briefings, and support materials crossing Mission Area and COCOM boundaries. Coordinate analysis which focuses on system-of-systems solutions for OA/M&S to include threat definitions and environments, and competitive systems analysis.
  • Lead teams that interact with customers for current and future product lines to shape mission needs and requirements, especially in the modes and algorithms area.
  • Serve as a bridge between senior management and technical staff to implement and execute strategy through detailed engineering innovation and concept development.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of projects, deconflict and prioritize resource availability, and direct a population of engineering staff from original requirements through to fielding operations.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • Experience working with Special Access Programs across multiple domains.
  • Experience in program execution, technology development and mission critical capabilities.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Advanced degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree.
  • Experience as a planner and execution leader for complex analyses for DoD customers.
  • Excellent Presentation Skills.
  • Experience with the TS/SCI level ops analysis and the RTX Rapid Campaign Analysis & Demonstration Environment (RCADE).
  • Experience with Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) software.
  • Experience with emerging threats and familiarity with the advanced technologies and CONOPS needed to counter these threats.

The salary range for this role is 172,900 USD - 328,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
