Job Description Summary:

The Associate Director, Sales Enablement manages the development, maintenance, and governance of sales-focused content that support business development across Cambridge Associates. This role plays a key part in how the firm's capabilities, investment expertise, and market positioning are communicated to clients and prospects — driving consistency, credibility, and effectiveness across prospecting, proposal, and presentation settings. The Associate Director serves as a subject-matter resource on sales enablement, collaborating with GCS, CMR, investment teams, and Marketing leadership to support content priorities aligned to firm strategy and ensure the sales team is equipped to compete and win.

Job Description:

Responsibilities
Content Strategy and Development
  • Own the strategy, creation, and ongoing refinement of sales-focused content across enablement platforms, including Loopio and Seismic.
  • Develop targeted collateral that supports business development across client segments, audience types, and stages of the sales process.
  • Create and maintain core sales materials, including capability overviews, product and solution summaries, presentation modules, pitch content, proposal templates, reusable response content, and messaging frameworks.
  • Ensure materials are clear, compelling, differentiated, and tailored to client and prospect needs.
  • Translate complex investment concepts, firm capabilities, and market positioning into concise, credible sales content, applying analytical judgment to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Platform Ownership and Governance
  • Assist colleagues in managing content structure, governance, and usability within firm tools, Loopio, and Seismic, ensuring materials are organized for efficient search, retrieval, and reuse.
  • Establish and enforce processes to keep materials current, approved, and version-controlled.
  • Lead efforts to improve platform adoption, user experience, and overall content effectiveness, escalating platform strategy decisions to Marketing leadership as appropriate.
  • Contribute to priorities for platform updates and enhancements in partnership with internal stakeholders and technology teams.
Sales Team Enablement
  • Develop playbooks, guides, and training materials that improve sales team effectiveness, consistency, and confidence.
  • Facilitate enablement sessions on content, tools, and messaging — reinforcing best practices in how the firm's capabilities and differentiators are presented to clients and prospects.
  • Provide targeted support for high-priority meetings, presentations, and proposal opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Alignment
  • Serve as a key liaison between Marketing and GCS, supporting alignment on content priorities, sales needs, and execution.
  • Partner with CMR to ensure positioning, messaging, and collateral reflect current market insights and firm priorities.
  • Collaborate with investment teams and subject-matter experts to validate content accuracy and strengthen technical credibility.
  • Together with colleagues, support consistency in how the firm's capabilities are presented across proposal, presentation, and prospecting materials — contributing to firm-wide alignment on messaging.
Performance, Measurement, and Continuous Improvement
  • Track and report on metrics for content usage, adoption, and impact; use data to inform prioritization recommendations.
  • Identify content gaps and lead development of plans to strengthen the firm's sales enablement library.
  • Drive continuous improvement of templates, presentations, collateral, and tool workflows based on business needs, stakeholder feedback, and user behavior.
  • Compile and share findings and recommendations with Marketing leadership and senior stakeholders.
Skills and Experiences
Essential
  • Advanced knowledge of sales enablement strategy, content development, and platform governance in a complex B2B or institutional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex investment or advisory concepts into client-ready content.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to connect content priorities to broader business development goals.
  • Experience managing or governing sales enablement platforms (e.g., Seismic, Loopio, or equivalent).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leaders on content and enablement topics.
