Overview

As an Associate Director of Project Management at Saatchi & Saatchi NY, you will drive the workflow of large process and project initiatives to meet deadlines and serve as a Project leader. An ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of project management experience in an ad agency managing projects in multiple mediums, including digital, video, social, print, or other initiatives.

While the Associate Director of Project Management role is primarily internal facing, participation in client meetings and direct client communication may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale projects or campaigns from brief through delivery by driving team decision-making and ensuring key internal touchpoints and communications occur across Account, Creative, Media, Strategy, Data Science, Analytics and Production.
  • Consistent oversight of and adherence to agency processes, efficiencies and resource documentation with the goal to keep processes and templates consistent.
  • Navigate through new situations wherein processes have not yet been established, applying foundational project management methodologies as the basis.
  • Facilitate internal discussions designed to foster collaboration across departments, as well as accomplish key campaign tasks including monitoring workback calendars and schedules, scope management and definition around creative deliverables, project assignment summaries, and creative kick-offs.
  • Partner with Creative Operations and Resource Management on scope and resource planning and monitoring, providing project-specific context to inform resourcing decisions, help manage workload, and assess burn.
  • Lead project retrospectives, cross-share learnings and outputs, as well as lead process improvement efforts.
  • Setting of internal reviews and dissemination of internal notes, especially to ensure all teams are up-to-speed rapidly.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following background and capabilities:

  • 8-10 years of project management experience in an ad agency managing projects across multiple media, including digital, video, social, print, and other initiatives.
  • Extensive and simultaneous management of multidisciplinary efforts from project brief through delivery, including oversight of scheduling, resourcing, workflow, and partnership with production.
  • Understand and articulate business reasons behind agency processes and best practices.
  • Experience working with current AI tools, and curiosity to continue growing in this area.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Google Docs, PowerPoint, Keynote, Acrobat Professional, Smartsheet, PM related workflow and reporting tools. Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop; knowledge of social media platforms.

Compensation Range: USD $97,375.00 - USD $155,961.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
