Collins Aerospace is looking for anAssociate Director,Program Managementsupporting the Boeing 737 Lavatory 3.0product line within the Interiors business. The incumbent will be responsibletodrivethe development of new lavatory positions,ensureprogram control and daily executive communication.The ideal candidate wouldbea seasonedand ambitiousleaderwho candriveamultifunctionalProgramManagementTeam(PMT)to meet program schedules and budgets.In addition to a strong technical background, the incumbent hasan Earned Value (EV) background, great communication skills,asound business acumenand the ability to solve complex issues.
This position works onsite at our Everett, WA facility.
What You Will Do
- Drive the entire life cycle of large strategic projects, directing it throughout the program life cycle with full accountability and ownership
- Establish program plans including schedules, budgets, business cases and lead the Program Management Team (PMT) to execute on time and on budget
- Ensure that all functional areasincluding program management, finance, quality, operationsperform in a coordinated and effective manner to meet business, program, and customer commitments
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities and maintain a comprehensive and regularly updated register
- Facilitate and drive empowerment amongst the IPT, recognize achievements, and create a highly motivated PMT to ensure customer commitments are met
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to build on the strategic blueprint for our lavatory business
- Demonstrate continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality Work to develop new standards of program management excellence across the lavatory business
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time (domestic and international)
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experienceoran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
- Technical and business background, with the ability to navigate complex aerospace environments and drive solutions
- Experience leading a multifunctionalProgram Management Team(PMT)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paceddevelopment andmanufacturing environment
- Experience managing Earned Value (EV) programs and/or full P&L ownership
- Work transfer and experience driving change
- Strongrelationship-buildingcommunication skillsboth written and verbal, capable of effectively engaging with diverse audiencesincluding internal leadership and customers
- Demonstrated businessacumenand Partsand Loss (P&L) understanding
- Experience with dependencies and critical path analysis in scheduling software
- PMP Certification
- Customer-facing experience as a program manager
- Change management and negotiation experience on large capital programs

The salary range for this role is 172,900 USD - 328,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
