POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a talented, motivated OOH Associate Director to join our Toronto Out-of-Home (OOH) Solutions team. This candidate will be a key team leader, responsible for the strategic direction and growth of their assigned client portfolio. The OOH Associate Director will act as a senior point of contact for clients, leading the development of innovative and effective OOH strategies that deliver on business objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic leadership, client stewardship, team management, and deep expertise in the OOH media landscape
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide direct strategic support to the Group Director.
  • Lead, mentor, and foster the professional development of a team, including Supervisors, Planners, and Coordinators.
  • Cultivate and own senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to understand and address their business challenges.
  • Oversee the strategic direction, planning, and execution of all OOH campaigns for assigned clients, ensuring the highest quality of work.
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership within the OOH space, bringing new ideas and opportunities to clients.
  • Lead the development and presentation of all major client-facing documents, including annual plans, campaign recommendations, and business reviews.
  • Contribute to vendor and commercial forecasting, and assist in managing commercial partnership deals.
  • Analyze end-of-month revenue variance and provide insights.
  • Play a key role in new business pitches and support global requests from the network.
  • Ensure financial accountability for client accounts, including scoping, resource management, and profitability.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key media partners and internal agency teams.
  • Represent the agency at industry functions and client-facing events.
  • Investigate industry news and information to further enhance knowledge of the media industry
REQUIREMENTS:
  • College or University degree in a related field (Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Media Buying/Planning, with a strong focus on Out-of-Home.
  • Proven experience in a client service and team leadership capacity.
  • Deep expertise in the OOH landscape, including traditional, digital, and programmatic channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a proactive, strategic leader and self-starter.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong financial acumen.
  • Polished senior-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Superior organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and oversee multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong senior-level client and internal relationships that foster collaboration, strategic growth, and conflict resolution.
  • Advanced strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate business problems into actionable media solutions.
  • Travel may be required as dictated by the needs of clients and the business.
  • Advanced PC skills, including all Microsoft Office products.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
