Key Job Responsibilities:

Serves as backup leadership to the CIO and Director of IT as needed. 5%

Through coaching and/or mentoring, provides guidance to team members on career growth, networking opportunities, and other professional development opportunities. 5%

Provides management and leadership for teams supporting endpoint Information Technology (endpoint computing devices, such as desktop, laptop, and tablet computers; and VoIP telephone systems) and medical equipment such as portable ultrasound, X-Ray, and pharmaceutical distribution cabinets; and credit card acceptance terminals. 10%
  • May perform manager functions 10%
  • Frequently assists the division's IT director in advising institutional or divisional leadership on information technology operations and business models 15%
  • Serves as a liaison representing the interests of the unit to internal and external stakeholders 10%
  • Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees 10%
  • Develops operating policies and procedures to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and unit objectives 20%
  • Directs strategic information technology planning initiatives and establishes objectives for IT functional department(s), unit(s), or program(s) to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative, staffing resources in alignment with the strategic plan 10%
  • May develop and audit the unit budget and/or financials 10%

$120,000/annual minimum. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of experience leading or supervising two or more employees (at any level)
  • Experience engaging with end-user and executive stakeholders to ensure appropriate levels of support are achieved
  • Experience understanding, implementing, and drafting organizational process and/or policy documentation
  • Experience managing or leading technology projects


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with Asset, Inventory, and Billing systems preferred
  • Experience with IT Service Management concepts preferred
  • Experience working with IT Ticketing or IT Service Management systems preferred


Education:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
