In this position, you will provide operational leadership for the day-to-day administration and operational functions of the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, including benefit administration, pension & retirement plans, payroll, leave management, worker's comp, HR compliance, HRIS, and process improvement.

Working in close partnership with the Director of Human Resources to ensure HR programs, systems, and practices are administered efficiently, consistently, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws while supporting Parker's mission, values and commitment to exceptional care partner service standards. This position will provide practical support to managers across the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred; An equivalent combination of education, training directly related to human resources experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least three (3) years in HR operations, retirement plans, benefits, payroll, or related functional area.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience managing an HR team.
  • Experience interpreting and applying federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, COBRA, ACA and worker's compensation
  • Experience improving HR policies, procedures, and operational processes.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and generating workforce reports and analytics.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR certification preferred.
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season.
