About the roleReporting to the VP of Sales, the Associate Director of Advisor Sales will build, lead, and manage a team of Advisor Sales Executives responsible for driving retirement plan sales through financial advisors who partner with Human Interest. You will own the end-to-end sales process, forecast, distribution, and strategy for the advisor channel, and you will be measured on partner leads, bookings, and ultimately launched revenue.

This is a fully remote position.
What you get to do every day- Coach, mentor, manage, and develop a team of Advisor Sales Executives, guiding them on the most effective ways to sell and distribute through the financial advisor channel
- Own overall sales metrics for the Advisor sales business at Human Interest, managing the end-to-end sales process along with the forecast, distribution, and strategy
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for advisor business, including forecasting, leveraging Salesforce
- Keep an eye on performance and accurately forecast commits and stretch goals on a weekly basis. Performance manage the team as needed
- Align with the sales leadership team on processes, procedures, and team KPIs
- Build and deepen relationships across the financial advisor channel to grow distribution and drive new partner leads
- Partner with the Internal Wholesaler team on outreach strategy, messaging, performance analytics, and cadence to ensure every advisor relationship is being managed effectively and efficiently
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, training, and implementation to get plans to launch faster and to ensure new hires (we hire and ramp quickly) are prepared and hit the ground running
- Create a high-performance culture and drive ownership and accountability, while having fun in the process
- Travel nationally to field ride with individuals on the team and to attend necessary meetings on a national level, such as sales conferences, trade shows, or partnership meetings
What you bring to the role- 10+ years of experience in the retirement industry, in a sales oriented role
- Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment
- Experience building relationships and distributing through the Financial Advisor channel
- Prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales professionals

Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the U.S. The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for the role described in this job posting is $220,000 - $230,000 which includes a base salary of $115,000 and a variable target compensation of $115,000.The salary we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the U.S., their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall total rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonuses, commissions, and equity may be offered.
