Full Job Description
Global Sales & Services Operations (GSSO) is the team that helps shape Gartner's mission-critical sales and services priorities and works with sales and services leaders to drive tactical and analytical insights. As an associate on the GSSO team, you'll be at the forefront of the ongoing transformation of Gartner's Sales and Services teams, which delivers approximately $5.3B in annual business and technology insights revenue. You will partner with business leaders across Gartner to support global Sales and Services teams comprised nearly 9,000 associates and which sell to and service every major function across the enterprise

Our Corporate Marketing team strives to understand the needs of the customers and communities we serve and designs the most effective programs to profitability meet those needs. This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging, and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

We are seeing an Associate Director of Marketing to join our team and help drive demand generation, pipeline growth, and business impact across key global initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that accelerate lead acquisition, advance pipeline progression, support account expansion, and deliver measurable results.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, customer-focused marketing leader with experience building and optimizing multi-channel campaigns, partnering across functions, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve performance. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing complex initiatives, and are passionate about creating innovative programs that resonate with target audiences and deliver measurable business impact.

What you will do:
  • Partner closely with GTS and GBS Marketing teams to expand lead generation through cross-functional support, pilot programs, best practice adoption while ensuring alignment across marketing priorities.
  • Develop and executive integrated marketing strategies, messaging and promotional plans that drive engagement, lead generation, conversion and pipeline growth for global campaigns.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment across priorities, resources, timelines and business objectives partnering with centers of excellence.
  • Identify and implement innovative marketing opportunities using data-driven insights to improve campaign and program performance and execution.
  • Actively problem solve and strategize on how to increase the impact of programs, measured by engagement, win rates, and overall growth.
  • Track and measure marketing effectiveness across channels and optimize plans to ensure ROI on all activities.
  • Create and evolve playbooks, processes, governance frameworks, and operational best practices that enable scalable and efficient execution.
  • Manage complex projects and strategic projects by tracking milestones, mitigating risks, removing roadblocks, and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Operate independently and build strong relationships across Marketing, Creative Services, Prospect Experience, Digital Experience, Product, Analytics, Campaign Excellence and regional teams to drive alignment and execution collectively.
  • Continuously evaluate program performance and make strategic recommendations to improve customer engagement, trends, win rates, and overall business growth.


What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including demand generation, acquisition marketing, and campaign management.
  • Proven success developing and executing marketing programs that drive lead generation, pipeline progression, and business growth.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional marketing strategies and working effectively across multiple stakeholder groups. Experience marketing to C-suite executives is preferred.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders across Marketing, Product, Research, Analytics, and Centers of Excellence.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex marketing initiatives, pilot programs, process improvements, and strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, develop recommendations, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience measuring, reporting, and optimizing marketing performance and return on investment.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a strong focus on teamwork, accountability, and results.
