The following position is to join RTX Corporate:
The Associate Director, HR Transformation supports the Director, HR Strategy & Functional Excellence and the Office of the RTX CHRO in advancing the effectiveness, scalability, and continuous improvement of the global HR function. This role is both strategic and hands-on – responsible for supporting complex, enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen HR operational excellence, advance process maturity, improve employee and manager experiences, and support the evolution of the RTX HR Operating Model. The role also serves as the CORE (RTX's quality operating system) leader for Corporate HR, ensuring continuous improvement principles are embedded across HR processes and initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, process excellence expertise, and strong project management capabilities to manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation. The role is accountable for driving project governance, stakeholder alignment, milestone management, risk mitigation, and change execution while ensuring outcomes are delivered on time and aligned to business objectives.
In addition, the role helps identify opportunities to leverage data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, decision-making, process effectiveness, and knowledge sharing across the HR function. While not a technology ownership role, this position plays an important role in helping HR adopt modern ways of working that enhance operational performance and organizational effectiveness.
What You Will Do:
- Lead CORE for RTX HR Corporate:
- Ensure maturity and continuous improvement of CORE practices across HR
- Lead recurring check-ins with sub-domain CORE focal points and the Corporate CORE office
- Support annual goal alignment and priority-setting processes
- Embed CORE principles into all strategic HR initiatives
- Drive consistent usage of RTX Enterprise Project Management (REPM) methodologies
- Support HR Transformation:
- Drive outcomes and elevate the global HR operating model and employee experience
- Support execution and evolution of the four-tier HR service delivery model
- Partner with HR and business leaders to define future-state capabilities and roadmap
- Drive HR Functional Excellence:
- Lead initiatives to simplify, automate, and standardize HR processes
- Partner with working teams, business unites, and cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end HR operations
- Document and maintain the RTX HR taxonomy, global processes, roles, responsibilities, and handoffs
- Lead HR Corporate Communications & Engagement:
- Lead planning and delivery of monthly Global HR Information Sessions
- Ensure the HR Hub remains accurate, intuitive, and operationally effective
- Maintain a quarterly HR communications and initiatives calendar
- Develop and track project milestones, partnering across all HR teams and stakeholders
- Support change management planning, execution, and adoption activities
- Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications You Must Have:
- University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated success supporting large-scale, enterprise-wide programs or strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and significant organizational complexity.
- Proven experience establishing project governance, managing executive stakeholders, driving change adoption, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong program and project management expertise, including planning, milestone management, risk mitigation, dependency management, executive reporting, and implementation oversight.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- MBA desirable as well as experience across all components of the HR Operating Model
- CORE Professional (or higher) certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and exercise sound judgment with a bias for action
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to build trusted relationships in a matrix environment
- Experience using AI productivity tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
