The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team. The Corporate | ES Human Resources team is looking for an Associate Director, HR Business Partner supporting the Process & Systems Transformation (PST) organization. This dynamic and fast-paced HR Business Partner role will partner with various stakeholders across the PST project (OSC, Finance, Digital) to ensure HR alignment across the project and drive critical HR milestones for the project.

About Process & Systems Transformation (PST)

RTX launched oneRTX focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity, and performance. The oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project is one of several major, multi-year initiatives under oneRTX that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, how we operate and how we deliver to our customers so that we can achieve our full potential.

The intent of oneRTX:

PST is to harmonize processes, tools, and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform - SAP's S/4 HANA. The result will be a common user experience across the businesses, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks to enable all employees to focus on value-add activities. With processes optimized and harmonized, we can leverage our scale so teams across RTX can share resources, leverage talent seamlessly and identify efficiencies. We will reduce cost and effort and improve performance as we break down silos and establish consistent ways of working.

What You Will Do:
  • Effectively partner with client groups in a complex matrix and fast-paced environment with both domestic and international employees and leaders, balancing competing priorities and engaging appropriate stakeholders
  • Execute on the resource plan in partnership with Talent, across the project with coordination between Corporate|ES and the Business Units
  • Support an enterprise-wide PST HR Council to influence and drive project HR related milestones
  • Partner with business leaders to meet organizational objectives, including talent management, organization design and development (e.g., change management), and employee engagement.
  • Partner with Enterprise HR and Corporate teams, HR Centers of Excellence and the People Services organization to implement program strategies to support the long-term business goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Partner, advise and coach leaders and employees in order to optimize employee engagement, team development, and organization effectiveness
  • Counsel employees and leaders on performance development, career planning, talent development and other topics as needed
  • Support HR core processes: workforce planning and optimization, performance development, change management, succession planning, employee relations, salary planning, and incentive compensation for their client group
  • Objectively assess and bring to resolution employee relations issues and work with appropriate organizational stakeholders.
  • Travel up to 25%, or as needed.


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • Prior HR experience (HR Partner or Center of Excellence)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools/sites that are restricted to individuals who possess U.S citizenship.
  • Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience leading a large transformational initiative, to include organization design, change management, executive stakeholder management, strategic workforce planning.
  • Experience working in a complex matrix environment
  • Virtual leadership experience, with ability to think globally and interact with people in multiple locations.
  • Prior experience in project management
  • Excellent HR partner skills and ability to interact with all levels in the organization
  • Self-starter with initiative and independent judgment who collaborates for success
  • Highly adaptable and agile to manage and influence complex and evolving priorities
  • Experience working with senior leadership with the ability influence
  • Strong analytical skills to draw appropriate conclusions from data and expertise in systems, anticipating second and third order of effects when making recommendations

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
