Job SummaryThe Associate Director for Children's Services will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive health services tailored to children and their families within the Health Home framework. Responsibilities- Program Development and Management
- Develop, implement, and manage programs and services for children and families within the Health Home model
- Ensure that services are culturally competent, family-centered, and aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements
- Monitor program performance and outcomes, making data-driven decisions to enhance service delivery
- Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to optimize care coordination and patient outcomes
Leadership and Supervision- Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including case managers, social workers, and support staff
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages professional growth and development
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and provide ongoing training and support
- Mentor staff in evidence-based practices and Health Home service delivery standards
Collaboration and Community Engagement- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and resource availability
- Advocate for children's health and wellness initiatives within the community and at the policy level
- Represent the organization at community meetings, conferences, and other professional events
- Develop strategic alliances to expand access to pediatric specialty services and community resources
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards pertaining to children's health services, including New York State Health Home requirements
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure adherence to program protocols and standards
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems for regulatory and accreditation purposes
Qualifications- Master's degree in social work, Public Health, Psychology, or related field
- Current New York State licensure (LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in children's services, healthcare, or social services
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of the Health Home model, child development, and best practices in pediatric healthcare
Experience working with diverse, underserved populations- Proficient in data analysis and program evaluation methodologies
