THE OPPORTUNITY

This position is an onsite opportunity in the Lingo Division. Lingo is a new biosensing technology that provides users a window into their body. Lingo tracks key biomarkers – such as glucose, ketones, and lactate – to help people make better decisions about their health and nutrition. Biowearable technology will digitize, decentralize, and democratize healthcare.

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused DTC Associate Director to lead and scale our direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital business. This role sits at the intersection of business ownership, product management, and site operations; responsible for driving revenue growth, delivering a best-in-class digital experience, and ensuring seamless day-to-day execution of our e-commerce platform.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role for a builder and operator. Looking for someone who can own business performance end-to-end, translate commercial goals into product and digital roadmap priorities, and ensure flawless execution across site operations, marketing, and engineering partnerships.  This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

DTC Business & Channel Leadership

  • Own end-to-end DTC business performance, including revenue targets, forecasting, and weekly pacing
  • Lead DTC cross-functional execution to deliver against commercial objectives
  • Analyze business performance and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities
  • Define and execute sales-driving initiatives, including promotions, merchandising strategy, and SKU optimization
  • Drive experimentation strategy, including A/B testing and conversion optimization
  • Lead annual planning and ongoing forecasting for the DTC channel
  • Partner with Marketing, Performance, and Finance teams to align on growth strategies and targets
  • Oversee SEO/GEO strategy to maximize organic traffic and discoverability

Ecommerce Management & Digital Experience

  • Lead and manage the DTC website roadmap, including cross-channel and platform enhancements
  • Overseeing the prioritization of ecommerce features
  • Partner closely with Engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality digital experiences
  • Drive site analytics and insights to inform roadmap decisions and optimization efforts
  • Define and improve core digital experiences across the customer journey
  • Provide technical stack oversight and ensure alignment with business needs
  • Lead recurring DTC reviews and cross-functional alignment forums

Site Operations & Execution Excellence

  • Ensure flawless day-to-day site execution, including content publishing and promotional launches
  • Own site performance, uptime, and release quality in partnership with Engineering
  • Oversee QA processes and release management to ensure a stable customer experience
  • Manage critical operational workflows, including payments, 3PL integrations, and fraud monitoring
  • Maintain ownership of key tools and platforms supporting site operations
  • Partner with Customer Service (e.g., Zendesk) to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Identify and resolve operational issues and risks proactively
  • Support governance processes (e.g., approvals, compliance, and release controls as needed)

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP

  • Collaborate deeply with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure teams to deliver roadmap initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Content teams to drive traffic and engagement
  • Align with Customer Service, Operations, and Finance teams on execution and performance
  • Act as the central connector across teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and delivery velocity

Experience You’ll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management.
  • Must have People Management experience
  • Proven end-to-end ownership of a DTC or e-commerce business, including accountability for revenue targets, forecasting, and in-quarter performance management
  • Understanding of Product Management and ownership of digital roadmaps. Close partnership with Product and Engineering teams to deliver customer-facing experiences
  • Deep expertise in digital commerce performance drivers, including site merchandising, conversion funnel optimization, and customer behavior analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and experimentation to drive growth, including running structured A/B testing programs, building test-and-learn cultures, and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, with strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate insights into clear actions and measurable outcomes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10-15+ years of experience across e-commerce, digital product management, or DTC business leadership
  • Experience with modern e-commerce platforms and ecosystems (Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.)
  • Familiarity with experimentation platforms, analytics tools, and personalization strategies
  • Experience in high-growth or omnichannel consumer businesses
  • Background managing site operations, payments, and digital tooling ecosystems
  • Experience working in agile product environments

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
