• Own the technology capability roadmaps for Finance and Legal, including strategy, demand shaping, stakeholder alignment, and investment planning.
• Partner with Finance and Legal leaders to identify business needs, workflow opportunities, risks, and measurable outcomes.

• Maintain transparency into capability health, planned improvements, dependencies, and value realization.

Solution Assessment & Investment Recommendations
• Lead structured problem definition and assessment of proposed digital solutions and emerging technologies.
• Direct market scans, vendor research, product comparisons, feasibility analysis, and build-versus-buy considerations.
• Translate business and clinical needs into capabilities, requirements, workflows, evaluation criteria, and success measures.
• Develop or oversee business cases addressing strategic alignment, operational impact, financial implications, risk, scalability, and expected value.
• Present evidence-based investment recommendations to executive and governance forums.

Governance & Solution Lifecycle
• Own the Digital Strategy & Solutions governance operating model and align it with applicable enterprise processes.
• Establish and maintain stage gates, decision rights, role clarity, templates, checklists, escalation paths, and documentation standards.
• Lead preparation and progression of solution requests through appropriate governance forums.
• Coordinate reviews with architecture, information security, privacy, responsible AI, procurement, legal, finance, and data governance partners.
• Maintain decision records, approval conditions, dependencies, risks, and follow-through through the solution lifecycle.

Executive Engagement & Strategic Leadership Support
• Serve as a trusted proxy for senior IT leadership in key strategic, governance, and vendor discussions.
• Develop executive-ready recommendations, portfolio updates, decision materials, meeting readouts, and strategic communications.
• Translate complex technology, operational, and financial considerations into clear choices and business implications.
• Surface material risks and decisions early, with recommended actions.
• Lead or support portfolio reviews, planning sessions, leadership forums, quarterly reviews, and strategic offsites.

Adoption, Value Realization & Capability Building
• Ensure initiatives have clear business ownership, adoption plans, success measures, feedback loops, and sustainable support models.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders on workflow impact, readiness, training, communications, and change implications.
• Monitor pilots and deployed capabilities and recommend scaling, optimization, corrective action, or retirement based on evidence.
• Lead Technical Capability Owner education and roadmap enablement through practical guidance, templates, and self-service resources.
• Establish repeatable methods and standards that improve stakeholder experience, transparency, and decision quality.

Organizational Leadership
• Lead cross-functional teams and workstreams through influence, accountability, and clear decision structures.
• Define effective working interfaces across strategy, architecture, delivery, project management, operations, and enterprise shared services.
• Initially operate as a senior individual contributor where appropriate and assume responsibility for employees or contingent resources as the function scales.
• Coach partners and team members in structured problem solving, executive communication, governance, and value-focused delivery.
