General Description:

The Global Commercial and Medical Affairs Technology team at BeOne is seeking an Associate Director, Commercial Data Infrastructure & Operations to support and enhance the commercial technology ecosystem and drive operational excellence across commercial data platforms, customer data, analytics, and business applications.

This role will focus on the implementation, support, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of core commercial data platforms supporting Account Planning, Business Insights & Reporting, Commercial Data Warehouse, AI Semantic Layer, and CRM.

Acting as a key liaison between Sales, Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Insights & Analytics, and Technology teams, this individual will help ensure commercial applications are supported by trusted, governed, and business-ready data.

Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business stakeholders, the Associate Director will oversee commercial data operations, customer data management processes, platform integrations, vendor delivery, and support activities. The role will focus on improving data quality, reducing manual processes, enhancing system reliability, and enabling scalable reporting and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Commercial Data Operations & Business Enablement
  • Develop and maintain operational support processes, documentation, SOPs, data dictionaries, and process maps to improve platform sustainability and supportability.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions and support user training, documentation, and adoption efforts.
  • Oversee the provisioning and delivery of high-quality commercial data across Account Planning, CRM, Customer Master, Business Intelligence, and Commercial Analytics platforms, ensuring data consistency, governance, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, workflow automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor operational metrics, data quality indicators, and platform usage to support continuous improvement initiatives.


Customer Data & Master Data Management
  • Support customer master data governance processes and help maintain high-quality customer, account, territory, and reference data across commercial platforms.
  • Coordinate customer matching, deduplication, affiliation management, and hierarchy maintenance activities to support business operations.
  • Manage customer data quality monitoring, issue resolution, and remediation activities in partnership with business and data stewardship teams.
  • Support the maintenance of customer communication preferences, consent management processes, and related compliance requirements.
  • Partner with commercial teams and external data providers to facilitate onboarding, enrichment, and maintenance of customer and reference data assets.
  • Contribute to customer data governance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aimed at improving data quality and usability.


Commercial Applications Data Platform Management
  • Manage day-to-day operations, enhancements, and support activities for commercial technology platforms including Business Insights, Account Planning, Customer Master Data, CRM, and related data solutions.
  • Coordinate platform releases, upgrades, enhancements, and defect resolution activities.
  • Support commercial product launches and business initiatives by ensuring technology readiness and data availability.
  • Conduct impact assessments and coordinate cross-functional reviews for system changes, integrations, and new data sources.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to prioritize enhancements and improve platform capabilities.


Data Integration & Analytics
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Enterprise Architecture teams to support data integration and data provisioning initiatives across commercial systems.
  • Coordinate integration activities between CRM, Customer Master, Marketing, Analytics, and Enterprise Data Warehouse platforms.
  • Support the development and maintenance of semantic layers, reporting datasets, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and AI teams to improve data quality and support advanced reporting and analytical use cases.
  • Monitor data pipelines and integrations to ensure reliable and timely data delivery.
  • Implement automated validation rules, matching logic, and automated data hygiene scripts to eliminate duplicate entries and maintain database integrity.


Vendor & Offshore Team Management
  • Coordinate delivery activities across offshore development teams, managed service providers, and technology vendors.
  • Manage project execution, testing, deployments, and production support activities across internal and external teams.
  • Monitor vendor performance against established service levels and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate issue resolution, root cause analysis, and operational reviews for commercial systems and data platforms.
  • Support release planning, environment management, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.


Education Required:
  • Education Required: Bachelor's in Computer Science, or a related field


Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:
  • Bachelors Degree with 10+ years of experience / Masters in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of Pharmaceutical industry Commercial operations or related experience building Enterprise Data Management platforms.
  • Experience in implementing & managing Master Data Management solutions is a must.
  • Experience in working with Cloud based platforms and technology solutions is a must (AWS Redshift, EC2, Databricks, Snowflake, Reltio etc)
  • Experience with Specialty Pharmacy data, Specialty Distributor data, Patient Hub data, VA data, CRM & Claims is a must.
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills and presentation and project management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate needs assessments across the commercial & other business organizations, and an ability to deliver a comprehensive solution to those needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a matrixed environment, and an ability to build solid relationships / make connections across the organization.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills and solid business acumen with the ability to manage and provision large amounts of data to enable business analysis with high level of performance and trust.
  • Must be able to identify operational weakness and implement corrective action / plan.
  • Proven ability to grow and develop others.

Salary Range: $150,200.00 - $200,200.00 annually
