Pratt & Whitney's Mature Commercial Engines Aftermarket (MCEA) organization delivers a broad range of aftermarket services to support customers and global MRO facilities across multiple product lines. The team manages a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of maintenance contracts and is responsible for developing and sustaining a worldwide network of service providers, delivering integrated material solutions, optimizing fleet maintenance agreements, and driving growth through enhanced offerings and improved cost and service performance.

Within this organization, the Associate Director of Business Development & Analytics is accountable for campaign strategy, service offering development, pricing, and contract performance analytics-all aimed at achieving the long-range financial plan. This high-visibility, high-impact role requires strong commercial aviation market knowledge, contract understanding, and financial analytic capability.

What You Will Do:
  • Leading a team of six to develop campaign strategies, execute campaigns, create product offering playbooks, and perform financial analyses supporting strategic initiatives such as new pricing actions and annual escalation.
  • Establishing long-term customer sales strategies that account for contractual obligations, maintenance practices, and engine technical performance, while partnering closely with Programs, Finance, Sales, Forecasting, and Pricing.
  • Continuously improving service offering strategies through competitive analyses, lessons learned, and collaboration with Finance, Fleet Management, the Network Team, Contracts, Legal, and Programs.
  • Analyzing contract performance and administration challenges to inform product offering updates and refine contractual language.
  • Supporting digital transformation by leading data governance efforts and contributing to application development and adoption.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to strengthen team efficiency and enable delivery of organizational commitments.
  • Communicating effectively to drive strategy alignment, explain technical details, and present analytical insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborating with Customer-facing teams, Fleet Management, Powerplant Engineering, and the Cost Management Team to resolve emerging issues and develop customer-centric solutions.
  • Applying continuous improvement principles to uncover and implement internal cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Potential for up to 20% international and domestic travel


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or 12 years of professional work experience to include Engineering, Math, Finance, Business Development or Operational Analytical Experience; Or an Advanced Degree and 10 years of experience as listed
  • Broad understanding of data analytics, aerospace aftermarket and contracts


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Strategic leadership and broad commercial aerospace experience with knowledge of jet engine operation and maintenance operations
  • Adaptability and cross-functional teamwork skills
  • Capacity to lead, motivate and influence through effective communication
  • Familiarity with developing and interpreting financial models
  • Digital tool proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint), Python, Databricks or similar applications

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
