Posting Description
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, ALUMNI CLASS CONNECTIONS, Alumni Relations , to develop and implement strategy to increase the engagement lifecycle for the youngest alumni (0-10 years out) through their partnership with the MITAA. Will guide the MIT 10 Council to develop engaging programming ideas and connection opportunities; serve as the program lead for Pi and Tau Reunions, as well as the 15th and 20th reunion committees; develop content for MIT10 alumni at Tech Reunion events and the Alumni Leadership Conference; set and execute the strategy for the initiative to engage current MIT students, stewarding them into the alumni experience upon graduation.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED : Bachelor's degree; a minimum of three years of experience in alumni relations, annual fund, marketing, or public relations in a university or nonprofit setting; excellent planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, presentation, and oral and written communication skills; attention to detail; discretion and good judgment with confidential information; proficiency with computers and standard applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom); ability to demonstrate initiative, approach work strategically, and welcome change; must be able to recruit, motivate, train, and manage volunteers; establish effective working relationships with colleagues, alumni, and other constituents; collaborate as part of a team in a diverse service-oriented environment; effectively develop and deliver training sessions; influence others and move toward a common vision/goal; and multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines without compromising quality in a demanding, high-volume work environment. PREFERRED : Knowledge of Ellucian Advance Web or other enterprise fundraising system; data analysis, marketing, and/or public relations skills; and experience working in higher education advancement.

This is a hybrid position with a combination of on-campus and remote work. Must be willing and able to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends.
